council in regard to maintenance of the
town streets,
After nxamining the streets bafnre the meetings he
recomwended further oiling as thn best procedure to
-Weep the Won% in gOO6 shape . his estimate including
10YOOO'gallons of 015 500 tons of chips spread would
amount to $3,320.00. ` hs cost or chips delivered o
1�'a.irfnx would be in addition to that figure . Pratt
as told that the council wo4id take his proposal under
advisement , but at this time i t appeared that there was
riot sufficient money available to maRe that improvement.
On motion by Steinmetz and seconded 'd N' Zeniseks it WaS
unanimously approved to authorize the laya Electric
Light K Power Go, to install an ad0t i nal st:r eat light
at the southeast corner n of the intersection of Vanderbilt
and Main Streot. Also to increase the Wattage of
on vanderbilt str eat from 150 watts to 200 watts
A discussion was held in regard to changing the speed
ordinance for town streets from 25 to 20 mph. No further
action taken at this time.
Clerk reported that he had contacted Chicago Bridge &
T on Go. in connection with the damagC t insu atiOn On
the riser of the water to n . They replied to the affect
that they would have thoir inspector check it out and
have the necessary y r epairs made.
No further business to come before the meeting, it was
moved , seconded and carried to adjourn.
