The regular meeting 1961 with all councilmen . presenta The i inutes of the May 3 meeting were read and approved. Warrants no. 233 thru :261 were read and approved. I A discussion was held in regard to a salary for the � efo catcher, who is presently Joe Goetschi_us. The time involved was mentioned., and it was moved 'by Steinmetz and seconded by Nemec that a fee of $60.00 per year be � paid to the 'dog catcher. This fee would substitute the fee pr•eviotsly paid ort a per dog basis. Yanece. mentioned the possibility of obtaining a blade for the : dump t ruck. The Mayor appointed a committee of Yanece ' ohm :and ' anuel to check in , to the possibilities of ®btairtang' this �. . . . t® It was also decided that if the grader could be sold for approximately what we paid for it, then the same committee would have the authority to dispose of same. Clerk reported that Kenneth Sokol needed a smaller culvert than the 15" culvert that the town had furnished. The smaller culvert would be a savings to the town and also more convenient fd 'Sokol. Yanecek indicated he would check into obtaining a dmaller culvert. Carl Sandber l� from echner Engine gyring Company visited with the 'council iii regard to a sewer system. Costs were mentioned as well as the possibility of a Federal Gaunt. It was . indicated that the chances for a grant were good if all the ;pr°el .minary work was finished. The advisability of a lagoon system in cotnparisaan to a disposal, or treatment plant, were discussed. Starks second addition was discussed in further~ detail. Since n€t ,definite word had been received from Con lin, no definite action was taken at this time, although it was felt that this same conditions would prevail for the second addition as did for the first addition. Cigarette permits were approved for the following: My Cap Vendors, Inc. (Royale Ballroom), Poland Tavern, Franks Texaco Service, Yokel Grocery, agcy°s Tavern. Pr9per fees and bonds have been filed with the clerk. class "B" beer permit application was on file with prop ,,r bond and fee from Charles and Emma Boland. On motion and uhanim�ous vote , this class "B" beer pert it was approved. The. water extension in Starks addition was discussed, and it was mentioned that so change might be necessary in the amount .of cover requir ed over water lines. This being true especi.all.y:where lines cross ditches. No definite action taken at t'h3s time. No further business to come before the meeting, it was ac jou ned.
