Jhe minutes of the June 7 meeting were read. A correction was made in 'the `minutes to the ,effects that. Joe Goetschius be paid a $5®04 fee. :pier month salary as dog catcher,and that he still be paid the *1650 'fee 'per dog when one. , is taken .to the dog pound. The minutes as corrected were read and appr oved. A discussion was held in connection with the chances . of the town purchasing a tap for making connections on water mains On a motion. by Steinmetz and seconded by Yanecek, it was unan- imously approved that a committee of Nemec and Zenisek be auth- or zed to purchase whatever taping machine they found to be best suited for the toms needs, k A letter from the 'Don Harstad 'Company to the town marshall was read. It contained information about the town possibly buying i .a. radar unit, Clerk reported that he had .written Harstad for the marshall, inviting Harstad to co a and demonstrate the unit and more Fully explain the . terms of a possible purchase Loren Carver appeared to the council and inquired about the chances of obtaiding a street lilgbt at 'the. north end of his , .Property.. The council indicated they would check with the light company and .get. their advice pertaining to this location® A. discussion was held. in regard to c anging .the ordinance on a building code. In particular, it was mentioned that mist imun .size !rgquiretents might. be raised. It was decided that the planning and zoning commission should. be informed of the situation and they should make any recummendations they felt i necessary to the 'council for further action. The mayor° appointed the following members to the Planning & Zoning commission. The members and terms are as follows: Edna .
