The regular meeting of the town council of Fairfax
was held this 2nd day of May, 1962.
All councilmen were present.
Minutes of the April 12 and 17 meeting were read and approved.
Warrants no. 332 thru 411 were read and approved.
The treasurers report was read and approved, $100337.57
Carl Lechner and Frank McLaughlin were present to) discuss
in further detail, the sanitary sewer system lay out.
Certain changes and modifications were discussed and
taken under advisement.
A special meeting was tentatively set for May 14, notice
being now given to the council.
No further business to come before the meeting, it was
moved seconded and carried to adjourn.

Special meeting of the town council held this 14th day of
May, 1962 for the purpose of examination and completion
of the special assessment schedule.
A11 councilmen were present except Emanuel,
The assessment schedule was further modified, and clerk
instructed to forward changes to Lechner for his recommend-
ations.
Clerk reported the request of Iowa Pund for a building
permit on the Lot between Neuhaus and Austin in Knicker -
bockers addition, said lot being 501 in front. Council
instructed the clerk to pass the request to the P. & X.
Commission. this is Lot 28, Ia. Fund Add'n. 50 X 140'' )
Council was instructed that if the assessment schedule
needed further attention, there would be a special
meeting May 23.
No further business to come before -the meeting, it was
moved, seconded and carried to adjourn.
