Mayor announced a special meeting for May 31. No further business, it was moved seconded and carried to adjourn, Mayor Clerk 1 May 31, 1962 A special meeting of the town council was held this 31st day of, 1 May, 1962 with all councilmen present except Emanuel® The clerk reported the findings of the Planning & Zoning Commission in regard to Lot 28, Ia. Fund. They recommend that N a dwelling as proposed in the plans that accompanied the permit ,0 request, be approved for this lot, oven though the lot is non A, conforming to the 9000 sq. ft. size requirement. The side yard rvquirements would have to be adhered too, as provided for in the ordinance. 2411 rafters and 1411 studs would be acceptable. A� discussion of the objection by Don Austin was had, and the clerk was instructed to notify Austin of the councils pxxdixg approval of the P. & Z. action. Clerk instructed to hold a bui.Mding permit until noon, June 4. If Austin cares to purchase said lot, he has until that time to act. If he has not acted to purchase: that lot by that time, as per offer by Iowa Fund to sell, clerk may issue building permit (as building inspector ) to Iowa Fund for construction of the dwelling discussed on Lot 23. The motion to approve the above was made by Zenisek, seconded by Steinmetz and unanimously approved. Motion made, seconded and carridd to ad pt valuations and assessments as filed. Since this is a matter of some urgency, clerk instructed to consult with torn attorney to determine necessary . steps to adopt same by reference.
