,special meeting of th.e torn council was called to order at
:30 PH by Hayor l uubasa with all councilmen present except
Carvrr,
Bill Bemis from Lechn sr Eng. Co® was pre sent Further
discussion pertaining to the surer ordinance was held®
Such things as common connections for more than one user
was an item discussed.
einis gave the council a report on the progress of the
contractor,
A recent fire call that was atte.,nded by the town squad
car was discussed. it was decided that assurance should
be made that an authorized person should have the car in
such cases, especially because the radio is a vital operation
in such case, and only avtthorized persons are allowed to
operate the police radio. The Mayor would discuss this
further with fire and police officials.
A letter elated Apri.l. 15 , 1963 from the 'honing Commission
was mead® It is attabhed to these rainutes. The Co��rnission
states that they approve of the re zoning of residential to
light commercial of the property owned by 1.tut® L. Serbousek
as follows: Lot 5, Irregular Survey °' �� Secs 16-82-8. I
This is S rbouseks dwelling located on south: side of Church
Street between Highway 140 and Vanderbilt. t.
The council took this recommendation under advisement and made
the following action.
Approval of the Zoning Corr mission request is granted subject
to the following restrictions
This change is permitted only while t1he: property is owned
by lam. L. Serbousek and only while Wrii. L.. Serbousek is the
Barber operating Oh,e proposed barber shop, The change to lilght
comi,iter�,ial would not be valid if the premises were to be
converted to use for any other commercial purpose® In the
event ownership changes, or its use chars,!-Yes, the zoning shall
revert to Residential zoning® In a, sense, this would be a
Hnote-conforminglu permission granted to Serbousek for the
operation of his barber shop.
On Motion to mak the change on the above stated property
from Residential to Light Com-r,e rical, subject to the sta i ed
provision , it was deconded and unanimously cxxriHd approved.
No further business to come before the council, it was moved,
seconded and carried to adjourn.
