The Town Council of the Tn of Fairfax met in regular session
Dec. 2, 1963. All councilmen were present.
The minutes of the Nov. 4 meeting were read and approved*
Warrants no. 633 thru 664 were read and approved. The
Treasurers report ifa8 read and approved.
The Mayor reported that the ballots from the election held
Nov. 5 had been duly canvassed and the following results
were had: The office of Mayor-.
Albert Stallman" 18 votes
Milo Xubasa 15 votes
Wallace Selzer 7 votes
Ray Brecht, Don Sheldon & Virginia Soukup one each„
For the office of councilman, the following votes were cast:
Russell Carver 55
Rudolph Nemec 78
William Shepard 72
Howard Steinmetz 47
Richard Zenisek 77
Lyle Kovar 75
The mayor then announced that Albert Stallman was the duly elected
mayor for the term 1-1-64 to 1231-a65 and the following councilmen
would hold the similar term: Carver, Nemoa, Shepard, Zenisek & Rovar*
Swearing .in ceremonies w'GUld be held at noon, Jan. 1, 1964.
A representative of Wa.tertower Paint & Repair Co. was present to
discuss a maintenance and cleaning contract for the water tower.
This had been considered for some tame, and the council unanimously
approved and ordered the Mayor to execute the sarm a copy on file
with the clerk for payments of $389.00 19649 389.00 1965 and 22
293.00 in 1966 and after until tapiration of contract.
Clerk instraated to order an electricy water pump from5ears &
Roebuck for the purpose of pumping water from the quarry into
the lagoon lift station Amount of this pump to be approximately
$140.00.
Wm. F* Zamastil reported that December 1963 would be the last
time he would be able to haul junk for the town due to the fact
he had sold his truck. Consideration was given as to what
the town Mould do in this regard for future junk collection
but no action taken at this time*

Clerk submitted the Official Budget Report of Municipality
for Municipal Streets And Parking for period Jan.l, 1964
to Dec. 319 1964 that has to be submitted for Road Use Tax
program in conjunction with la. Highway Commission.
