The minute5 of the March 1 meeting were real ard approved. The treasurers report shawing a balance of $30,00FOO was read and approved, Margaret Prpbst and Glenn Selzer were present to discuss drniAago problems on the rrobst Property on west Church Street. Solution was delayed until a firm proposal for street repair was determined, The owner was promised some relief of the draingge problem. Melville Wolf asked permission to remove the brick pillar at the intersection of Losey and Prairie. Permission was: granted with the understanding that the job be completed including clean up and that no expense to the Town be incurred, Sid. Paterson -,,TF,,s present to discuss sonn now type of repair sleeves for the water mains. Purchase consideration would be made a! a later meeting. Jim Powers from Powers & Associates was present to discuss street repair wort. Powers discussed in detail the manner in which he wQuld approach our problem, and after discassion the council unanimously approved an agreement to bc signed with Powers, employing his services for the purpose of arriving at a reuommendation f& street improvemants. Clerk instrvcted to write Lechner Eng. Co, for transparencies that were used in preparation of Road Use Tax Map, further busines, meeting adjourned. A petition from residents of Slopmez Drive asking for iistall - ation of a fire hydrant waq considered, approvdd and clerk instricted to order tPe/ hydrant. Petitions attached.
