A special meeting of the town council was held this 28th day
of April, 1965.
Present was Mayor Zeninek, Councilmen Kovar, Stallman, Marta
and Nemec. Absent was Councilman Carver and clerR Neuhaus.
Carl Lechn2r from Lechner Eng. Co. and his associates wave
present to disauso the prcblem of excessive water in the sanitary
sewer system. Also present in this connection was Ronald Eurger,
Myron Burger, Den Dubishar, Ralph Carnes, Raymond Brecht and
Anneth Selzer along with Town attorney, Warren Eckley.
Those presont discussed the problems of the water back-up
problem.
The Fairfax residents related their experiences in the hopc it
would shed some light on the problem.
Lechner made some rvmarks after much discussion with 01 concerned,
He could see no ccncrete reason for an overflow from the wet
well at lift 11 1. (Siepman Drive )
He reviewed the procedures in arriving at the design of the s1stem,
Stated that the system, as designed and constructed, should
accomodate sanitary seweraZe and footing drains from a population
of 1000.
Q recommended and the town council agreed thAt tflaer�� were sovie
man hole lids that should be raised. Kunwil agreed to do this
immediately, employing John Murphy, Fudolph Nemec and Frank Sonka.
Lechner was asked to investigate the feasibility of an overflaw..
at Lift # IT and the cost of same . The Town was to cortact D. &
E. Excavating Co. to arrange a meeting with a representative froul
Lochner Eng. Co. in regard to the raising of manhole lids.
Hayer ashed town attorney to investigale any legal responsibility
the Engineer might have toward the Town i�n this, matter.
No further #V business, the meeting was adjourned.
