the Fairfax Twun Councib met in regular session April 11,,
1966 with all councilmen present except Kovar,
The minutes of the March 14 meeting were read and approved®
The treasurers report was presented and approvedo
A class B. Beer Permit was approved for John Anderson to operate
in the tavern building owned by Albert If. Sankot® Said permit
is approved contingent upon the proper filing of bonds and permit
fees.
XlXl Bare tte Permit was also approved for John Anderson.
These permits are to be effective April 12,, 1966.
Joe Petrzelka visited with the council in regard to access at the
lift station located on his property. He was told thatt the town
would pay for the construction of a passage gate if he desired
to be used by town maintenance employees.
Some discussion pertaining to a Playground program for this summer
was had but no decision was made.
Clerk, was asked by Mayor Zenisek t o write the Ia. League of
Municipalities in regard to performance by contractors* '
Notion by Buresh and second by Vondra to employ Hall Engineering
Co. to make a preliminary report on the town streets and grades
was unanimously approved. Said report will establish grades to be
used in an ordinance at a later date, and also contain an estimate
of costs for various surface types that might be recommended by all.
Clerk instructed to write Iowa Fund in regard to any future development
in the Gardena, particularly Ficolette Street paving®
On motion by Vondra and seconded by Shakespeareq it was unanimously
approved to purchase an accident policy for Serbousek from Continental
Xffillates Uhderwrite!rs for an annual premium of 107.70, said policy
for one year only,
Light Co. to be notified to move the two street lights at the west
end of Main Street near Carters®
Warrants no, 155 thru 171 were read and approved.
No further business, the meeting adjourned.
