July 21, 1966
The council met in special session July 219 1966 with Mayor
Zenisek and councilmen Kovar, Strom I and Von-dra present,
Buresh and Shakespeare absent.
Council authorized a license arrangement with the C. &, N. ItI7.
to permit the town to construct a to on their property in
the vicinity of the Quarry lane® Zenisek authorized to execute
this license—no f ee involved.

After considerable discussion in the past about the feasibility
of taking an official census in Fairfax in 1966 so the town Wou-Id
be eligible, for imcreased State refunds on Read Use Toix and
Liquor Profits in 1967 and subsequent years, it was moved by
Vondra and seconded b ovar that the necessary steps, including
payment of the fee required of $385. 00 to the Censis Bureau,, be
instigated so thlat the official census could be taken in 1966.
Said motion approved.
Clerk instnucted -to obtain the necessary maps as per specifications
set forth in prior cor.-espondence with the Bureau.
After additional discus ior. pert ainin.g, to the budget estim'te
for 1967 ,, the fo�l,lowing figures were arrived at for publication
and the public hearing set for August 8. 1966 at 7 :00 1,11 at the
Town Hall.
