The To council of Fairfax met in regular session
Sept. 129 1966 with all councilmen present except Kovar®
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved,
Warrants no® 248 thru 261 were read and, approved.
The treasurers report was read and approved.
The meeting of Aug. 29 with Mr. Hall was further discussed, and
it was considered that the council mighticall a special town
general meeting at some future date to discuss with the citizens
the possibility of a street improvement program. Vondra was
to discuss with all the possibility of his being present for
such a meeting®
A further discussion on the combination County-Town law enforcement
program was had. Npyor to check with Ely mayor Duffe to discuss
a cost sharing plan.
Rudy Nemec was present to discuss some hydrant repair and was
given the go-ahead to have the necessary bleed valves fixed.
David Steinmetz presented in writing a comprehensive report on
the playground activities that he sponsored this past summer.,
Certain recommendations for future programs were made, and the
council commented on his report and felt he should be thanked
for the good job done and the fine presentation made which should
be helpful in future years.
Town attorney Ackley was present and the balance of the evening
was spent in reviewing the existing town ordinances, which are
in the process of being re-written and published®
No further business, the meeting adjourned,
