The Town Countil. of Fairfax met on Dec. . 149 1966 in regular
session at 7:00 PM with all councilmen present.
The minutes of the November meeting were read and approved.
The treas. report was presented and discussed®
Warrants no, 295 thru 338 were read, and approved.
A discussion pertaining to a general town meeting to discuss
a street improvement program was had and it was agreed that
Monday, Jan. 1,6 at 7:30 would be an agreeable time if it was
acceptable to Hall Eng. Co. Clerk instructed to mail cards
locally to advise people of such meeting to be held at the Legion
Building.
Clerk reported on Whitney Pump Co. service call on the town
well of Dec. 1 , They reported that the pump would likely
have to be pulled in order to replace some impellers and other
items so that t'he pump would have the pr per capacity. Clerk
ordered to contact Whitney for an estimate in dollars and time
for the repairs.

Several members of the Central City Council visited in regard
to the County Sheriff--Town Marshall program as a prelude to
the possibility of Central City instigating a program similar
to the one Fairfax now has®
Sid Paterson from Uti&ity Equipment Co, visited with the council
in regard to some equipment for sale. It was agreed that
a detector and small hydrant pump would be placed on order.
No further business, the meeting adjourned.
