A special me6ting of the Town council was held at 7.-00 PX
Mayor Zenisek and councilmen Stallman,, Buresh and Kovar were present,,
AttornVy Ackley was present at the meeting,
Carl Lechner and Si Hi4lan met with the council as representatives
of Lechner Engineering Co.
The excess water problem in the sanitary sewer system was discussed
and also the opevation and feasibility of an overflow system
for the lift stations was discussed.
Xuch discussion of old ideas and subjects pertaining to design
and possibilities or alternatives in relation to available! funds
was discussed by Lechner.
Mayor Zenisek pointed out that he felt the design was inferior
since certain underground conditicns should have been a known
fact to the consulting engineer based on his previous water
construction job and the problems encountered at that time,
It Tfas agreed that if the cause of the excess water was detiermined,,
(and solved) then it was likely that the problem of excess water would be
solved except in cases of power failure or mechanical breakdown,
when an overflow system would still be desired.
Lechner reported the possibility of an agriculturial drain 'tile
being connected into the sanitary main, aausing the exces5 water.
He indicated that he would send someone to Fairfax to explain
the use of certain dye that could be interjected into field tiles
to determine their ultimate outlet.
No further business, the meeting adjourned.
