The reguNr Town Council repting was held April 12 , 1067 with
ThR treasurers report was approved showing a balance of $20, 414.92
Warrants no. 372 thru 979 were rea d and approved,
Orville blaugh was present from the South Slope Ca Op Tel Co. Q
discuss in detail the installation of a warning device connected
to the fire telephone circuit frnm thn lift station in the sanitary
sewer syotem. The Phone On. is requesting a "hold pia_ ..,l
agraement from the town to protect the South SIdpa in the event the
fire circuit was rondered useless as a result of this warning device.
The intent of the agreement was approved, but final action would
be taken after appice of the town attorney,

to approve the leaso with St. Patrick Church Corp. , a copy of whick

executed copy by the Church offWals ,
it was approved that the Town muld sell water to Paul Whitters
at his property located at the uast en J of Church St. , outside the
corpprate limits, providing Whitters paid the samg rates as the
ordinance provides for except that his monthly Knintuat imuld be
$7.00 per month and that he make a V20.00 water m0er deposit.
Said agfecmept tu be drawn by the town attorney and Resolution
would be adopted when oxecuted copies are returned.
Mayor Zenisek reported that further discussinn with the Linn County
Suparvisors indicates that any action on Church Street with the,
county participating on costs would be a matter of yeirs in the
future , although tns certainty of such Y reasonable.
In light of this information, it was move-6 b-.y- and
by J ndra that tall Engineering Op . be empicyad to prepare jnb
spowificatiuns and preposals for a "Sea! Cote" street surfacin�;
for the Town of Fairfax.
Mayor Zenisak outlined briefly a pooposed playground program for
the summer of 1967 , said program to be similar to ths 1056 program,
it waE unanimously approved that the pardhase of Loren Carvers tractor
wuuld be dezlined.
