The Fairfax town council met in special. session #1 June 12,.
1967 at r09 PX pursuant to notice as published in the Gazette.
Mayor Zenisek presided with Councilmen Kovar, Stall an and Shakespeare
presente
Mayor announced that this was a public hearing for any objectors
to the proposed Resolution of Necessity and there were no objectors
present . `there had been no written objections filed, and Mayor
announced that the objectors hearing was over .
The following resoltition was introduced by Stall an, Seconded by
ovar° and passed-.
Resolved by the Town Council of Fairfax, Toga that it is desirable
and necessary to asphalt certain str•ents in the Town of Fairfax
all in accordance with the plans and specifications
previously submitted by Hall Engineering Co, of Cedar Rapids,, Ia.
to this Council and said plans and specifications sea submitted
are hereby approved and the form of contract as so submitted
to this council is farther approved and the Mayor and Clerk are
hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the low
qualifying bidder for performance of such work.
Motion made, seconded and carried to approve$ the Resolution
of Necessity as filed,

Contract executed with Felling in accordance with the formal
resolution which is attached to these Minutes and made a part thereof,
No further business, the meeting adjourned.

SPECIAL MEETING OF June 12, 1967
'there having been no objections filed, nor objectors present, on June 12,
1967, .at the Fairfax Town Hall, for hearing on the proposed Resolution of Ne-
cessity for 1967 Street Improvement of the Town of Fairfax, Iowa, a motion to
pass said resolution was .made by .0 t . a _ - _ _ , seconded
by SAAAAAAn a ar , and on vote being taken, was unanimously
passed.
Upon bids being opened by the Council and announced, it was found that L. L.
palling, of lows. City, Iowa, was the loss bidder, in conformity with the notice to
bidders; and upon motion being made by Shotkespeare and seconded
by Kovar and unanimously passed., it was resolved that
the Mayor and Tom Clerk should enter into such proposed contract with L. L.
Felling for said street improvement on behalf of the Town of Fairfax, Iowa.
No Further bisiness, the meeting adjourned, �
