Details of the building as well as certain features of design were discussed at len tth... cont 'd below Julys 269 1969 A special meeting of the council held July, 28, 1969 with all councilmen present. It being the same date as the regular firer ens meeting, many, of the firemen were present. The Architect discussed some of the details that were pertinent to the fireman on design, .spiking, etc, of the new fi.restation. No further business, meeting adjourned. i i I I I July 16, c ont' d. Mayor reported his conversation �Tith the county engineer® re arda;ng the "sap t.reatment of the grain bin mead west of town. It was agreed that it would be well to experimmtt wit h tbi.s treatment since it was highly recommended byY the County and knowledge Qf other counties experience was known. Co t would vary according to delbph of treat- ment, with a 6 inch treatment estimated at $5,000 per i ile. Approve was granted for the area that had previously been dreated for dust control to have this "sap" treatment. Clerk reported that Fred Filling and Ronnies Hauling had been contacted regarding hauling junk fr) r the town. Filling would arge 2 .00 II per month per user and Ronnie only estimated about $75.00 per week, but both expressed some concern about having a place to dump and I that there might possibly be an extra charge for this service. Delbert Neese submitted a bid of $1.70 per user per month and this appeared to be the best of the three . His past service has been satisfactory and clerk was instructed to have drawn a new contract with Neese to be effective Jan. 1, 1970. Mayor announced that a tentative meeting woul.c`) be held in two weeks with the architect.
