Ise'cular meeting of the town coundil hdId Aug. 13 , 1.963.
This being the meeting for objectors to be heard regarding
the proposed 1970 Budget, the Mayor called for any objectors
that might be preset. There were none. Clerk rdported th,:_Yt
no writ en objections had been filed, therefore mayor declared
the budget estimate as published for 1970 be adopted,
Councilmen Karal and Austin were absent.
The minutes of the Julys 9, 16 & 28th meetings were read and
approved.

Warrants approved as follows
General 786 thru 801
Water 580 thru 592
Sewer 326 thru 332
Architect Johnson present to discuss the building details
as well as a proposed information letter that would be mailed
to the residents of Fairfax pertaining to the facts of the
building and election®
Clerk instructed to contact Howell Co t. Co. re a; ding
road work®
A request from e €my Post 572 of the American Legion to
rove their location for one day, Sept. 1 to the property
owned by .Fades Kurtz north of tows was approved.
Notion by Strang and seconded by Stall an to approve the
Class TI Club beer permit for Pekomy Post 572 , American Le ion
effective Oct . 9, 1969. 6aid motion unanim.ously approved.
Proceedings relative to the Bond election to be held Sept . 30,
1968 on 650,000 GO 'Pire .statir,n bonds are contained in separate
pr oceeftngs but are spade a part of these minutes.
