Special meeting of the Town council held Nov. 25 , 1969.
All councilmen �r �-,,sent except Shakesneare .
Purpose of the wentinn were to take bids on the
plans and speciBications for a new fire station
as published in the Gazette , and as on file with
the town clerk ano the architect of Armon , Kopecky
and Johnson .
Layor Zenisek asked for any objectors and ther,-�
were none present . He then a9ked if any objectiong
had beep filed wikhi the clerk regarding the Wans
and specifications and form of natige , and there
were note.
He the delclared the meeting open for the nurpose
of taking bids as proposed and the following were
opened and read by Joel Johnson , architect.

All bids wery accompanied by a certified check and the
proceedings are contgUned in other records for the
purpose of bond issuance proceedings as per Uer-ick,
Langdon etal.
Since all bids were substantially ala)ve the archit.-Dcts
estimates, it was decided to have Johnson discuss the
bids with the apparent low bidder, Mac Const . Co.
and report back to the ccurcil at a at .r date .
Possible alternatives would be discussed if they became
feadible .
