Special meeting of the Fairfax Town Council held this
30th day of Dec. , 19R9,
All councilmen present except Strang.
Alice Barnett was present to discuss the granting to the
Town a six month extension on the option to purchase a sitt-
frDm her and her mother , Anna Petrzelka, for the fire station
baildi fit g .
After/ much disaassion , Ars . Barnett indicated that she
didn ' ! want to grant a mix month extension. The town orfered
to accept it foe three months , hoping to have a final
decision relative to the building program by harch 31, 1970.
It was also agreed , as contained in the new option , that
she be paid $50.00 for said option.
Drs . Barnett said she would give this 3 month matter her
consideration and would probably be in touch with the Town
prior to the January meetin;.
Some further discussion relative to the building was had
and Wallace Selzer was present to discuss possible cost
reduction matters . Clerk was instructed to call architect
Johnson about such tip ngs as tile vs car pct in the in the
meetlnK room, footings of reinforced conc7 Ems. te or blocks ,
outside wnrk YMPding -driveway , excavating, etc . bein,
r-Poved from the bids door frames being made smaller,
truck doors being of diflerent materials, timer removed

No further business , meeting adjourned .
Olerk reported that Fairfax township trusteos and the Town
of Walford had paid the agreed A price for 1909 fire
protection and that copies of the agreement are on file
and made a part of these minutes.
