5R 1971.
Betty Austin, Mayor Pro Tem presiding Co ncilmen Keral, Vavrocb
and Stallmen present,
Rayor Pro Tem Betty Austin called for any objectors tothe 1972
Budget as published and there were none. Clerk reported no
written objections received, On tall call vote the 1972 budge
was declared adopted as published.
Mr Bert Stallman attened the meeting to issue a complanit that
a councilmenber ( Betty Austin) had made a crank call to his, O
residence at 2:30 AN in regard to fire cracker noise. 96 doted *mI&K
in the minutes as requested but no council action taken on the
complaint,
Frank Karl made motion and 2nd by Harry StallmAn that approval of
liquor licavense for Sam's Lounge be granted by council. Carried
Sam Snell presented application for dance permit. Motion to
approve made by F Karal. Motion died for lack of 2nd
Discussion held on parking situation an Vanderbilt Street.
John Zamastil present to ask that some type of warning signs
be placed on the corner of Vanderbilt and Linn showing bad
corner, Also that some t*pe of Warning barricade be placed
at the end of Vanderbilt and Front Street
Mr Zamastil aslo ask the council for permission to remodel
his granfatbers house. matter to be referred to the P & 7,
committee for their consideration.
Clark instructed to contact School and T & K roofing in regard
to replacing ceiling the in council room- ruined by leaking roof.
Louis Whitney from Whitney Pump attended meeting with Hyron
Burger to present to the co !ncil for their consideration
information on a right angle drive pump to be installed in
Lift Station # I for use in case of the electricity goes- off
Govncil instructed Mr Wbi&ito write up the spec and cost to
be present at next council meeting.
Clerk instructed to invite Father Brigehach and St Patrick's
Church trustees to the next council meeting for a discuision of
the revision of the lease between the town abd St Patricks.
Motion to pay warrants made by R Burger, 2nd Harry Stallman
