HomeMy WebLinkAbout08/19/1971 Council Minutes 182 The regular meeting of the Fairfax Town Council was held August 19, 1971 Mayor Shakespeare presiding, All councilmen present. Uatber Breitbach Pasbur of St Patricks Church and Ben Stallman a trustee of St Patricks attend the meeting for a discussion of the lease agreement that the town has with St Patricks on the balldiamand and ice skating rink. St Patricks will take under advisement the changing of the lease to vead 12 months a year from the present 4 months a year. They will give us a answer before the 15th of September. Since Joel Johnson is no longer with the firm of Armon, Kopecky and Johnson Architects the clerk was instructed to contxact Armon for a representive of firm to attend our next council meeting to check over the list of unfinished project on the fire station building. Several matters referred to P & z for their cleareece. Clerk instructed to write to the owners (Robert L. Wood ) of the fkm mn former Thompson property and advise them that they must have a special permit to raise hotses in the town limits, and-that they need a building permit for exterior improvements.
