On motion of Ronald Stallman 2nd James Stallman the following approriations
for 1975- were approved

Bills present approved for payment on motion of James Stallman 2nd G Stockton Carried.
On 'Motion of Ronald Stallman 2nd JohnrZamstil resolution 1473 was introduced
and on Roll Call Vote approved, (Copy attached)
Official appointments made by Mayor Shakespeare and an motion by Gary
Stockton with 2nd by John Zamastil approved the following.
Town Clerk Virginia Soukup $700.00
Treasurer Evelyn Carver 15000
Fire Chief Chas Yaneeek 125,00
Town Attorney Scott McLeod Fee basis
Ronald Stallman to be representive on Civil Defense Comm (linn County)
Virginia Soukup to be representive on Reginal Planning Comm (-Linn County)
Rudy Nemec to be names consultant at $60.QO per year to water & sewer dept,
Street & Alley Committe James Stallman, Ronald Stallman, Gary Stockton.
Charles Boland made application for Liqour and Beer Permit. Motion to
approve made by Ronald Stallman 2nd John Zamastil. Carried
Mayor Shakespeare ask that each co�jncilmen take their turn throughout
the -year in helping him mbft make out the hours for the special police's
assignments, The fol4owing months were given to each eouncil-men.
Tames Stallman January, June, & November
Ronald Stallman March, August
John Zamastil February, July, X December
Gary Stockton May, October
The following were appointed to the Fairfax Board of Adjustment.

Merle Hastings, Ray Brecht,, Ralph Emanuel, Joe Krahmerg Donald Murphy
Organization meeting to be hold, for assignment of terms and appointment of
Chairman.
Clerk gave council a brief outline of what parts of the Home Rule bill should
be adopted this year. On Motion of Ronald Stallman end Bob Lefebure, Clerk
to attend school of instruction at 'University of Iowa in February, Town to pay
fees. Carried®
Mayor Shakespeare notified the council that Mr Murphy has not accepted the town
offer for the purchase of his property for a town park' Several other sites were
discussed,
Report on projects for the youth of the community to be given at next meeting.
No further business meeting adjourned on motion by James Stallman 2nd G Stockton carried
