Dave Neuhaus present to ask that the council core der beginning work on
a :street i. p ravement program of a permanemt nature, Such as curb and
getter and paved streets, The money spent each year could be used more
wisely in paved ;streets.

Jbmpa Poorbaugh attended meeting to answer numerous questions presented to taim
by council in regard to his Marshall work. An per council instruction he is
mntxtrkx not to take homy, unless no one else is available, any person who
has Been over indulging in alcholic beverages. Either the tavern operator
or some mf relative should be responsible for this per:5on:s transportation.
Council it revised t at rules and regulations in regard to the quarry located
on land owned by Mowa Fund as follows. No. 8 should read alcholic beverages
in place of intoxicating beverages and #5 No boat, or floating crafts of
any type will be allowed (Complete copy attached in minute book)

BE IT SOLVED: That the Fairfax City Council. meeting
in regular session, do Caere by establish the following rules
and policies in regard to the store quarry on the property
owned by the Iowa Fund Company of Des Moines, Iowa
1. Only those people hiking or fishing will to permitted
in the quarry area
2. No unauthorised motor driven vehicles will be allowed
in the area.
3. Now swimming, 'ors firearms and no alch€ali.c beverages
will be allowed.
gym. Training sessions for Fire Departrents. Rescue Squads
and Emergency units will be permitted at4tcess to the
quarry only with authorization from the Fairfax City
Council ,. and property owner.
5. No boat or floating crafts of any type will be allowed.
