Regular Meeting of the Fairfax it Council was held fecember 6, 1973. All Councilmen
present. Mayor Shakespeare presidings
Motiop of R Stallman 20 G Stockton, American Legion Liquor permit be approved for
1974. Carried, Clerk to send remidder to Legion in regard to their noving of the,
permit to other location thah the Legion Hall.
Notion-of H Stallman 2n B lefebure Milo Kuhasa to check on types and pricesi
of shelviny for storgge of water and sewer dept mat erialy Limit of $40*00 set
on -purchase price. Carried
Bill Cpnnon of Cannon Hauling, Iowa City attend Council neeting to explain to
Couricil his latest problems with his contracts: in taking over for Hall Car bage
Service. Copy of his contract left with cou5cil for their consider2tion, City,
is At to do anything Until Cannonts lawyer and MIN Lawyer have come to an
aggreement'.
Clerk instructed to notify Whitnsy Purp that the repairs made on the meter at
Well House pot complete an meter is still leaking,

Motion of R Stallmar 2nd J StOlman- that WOW Talkie be insured for $800,00
. and that the insurance on the contents of- the Fire Station becincrevFed

Motion of R Stallman 2nd Janes Stallman insurance agent t o check into and
obtain coverage on the Uater Tower, Carr _ed$

out all the mein sewers in towu,,
