Special Co rcil meeting held Qla/74 Mayvv Shakespeare presiding. Councilmen
J Stallman, R Stallman, G StAkton present.
Purpose of meeting to accept petition of annexations and other sumb matters
that may come before the coupcil.
R07 Brecht ask permission on behalf of the-Kidney Foundation to bring a
car to the 40 of July celebrition for the purpose of selling raffle
tickets on it. Discussion held be council and approved his request
City attorney to contact Poorbaugh on terms of settlement of his claim.
On motion of J Stallman 2nd G Stockton attorney to purpose settlement -of
-
approximately $300.00. Poorbaugh to sign statement release city of all
further claims.
D. C. Taylor Co did not wisb to make a bid on clean out plug and overflow
pipe on watertower, Motion r Staliman 2nd G Stockton that ',;Tatertower Paint and
-RApair Co be contacted and accept their bid of $1376,00 to do the job. carried
