Regular meeting of the Fairfax City Council was held '1,/2/75® Mayor Shakespeare
presiding. Councilmen j. Stallman, R. Stallman, G Stockton, R Brecht, J Zamastil
present.
Minutes of previous meeting approved.
Clerk instructed to post a notice remiDding people that building permits are required
for new buildings and extensive remodeling.
Bills approved for payment on motion Pf R Stall an 2nd Sames Stall an. Carried
Motion of 0 stackt4p 2nd J Zompstil the followiny appointments were made by
Mayor Shakespeare for 1975.

Motion of John Zavastil 2nd Raymond Brecht—Urry Zenizek approve i Cer Fire Dept.
Tannex Townsbip fire contract hplders are to be billed for only 6 months as the
Lennex Township trustees wave signed a contract with the Amana Fire Dept for
Eire protection as of 7/1/75.
Werking session hold an Water Dept and Sewer Dept budget.
Special meeting to be held Jan 13 for the pup se of working on a new ;Wag
ordinance.
There being no fukther business meeting adjourned.

Special Council meeting' held 1/13/75 Mayor Shakespeare presiding,
All councilmen present,
Purpose of meeting: Work on zoning ordinance
Dan Shakespeare appreared to give council a report on the eater' and Sewer dept.
He requested that council be on the outlook for some held in the maintance line
for the the water and s ewer dept. He outlined thR xwmeduftinprovements needed at tht
p um p houseand lift stations. On motion of R Brecht 2nd James Stallman council granted
Dan Shakespeare a $15.00 per month raise, Carried.
Work on zoning ordinance aecapied the rest of the meeting titue. Council was
feminded that a special meeting on Community Develop Funds will be held 1/16/75
at Kirkwood and that he was declaring it i special meeting tharefdre any co'neilmen
attending would be paid regulAr council payo
