Minutes of April rmetings approved
Bills approved on motion. of ,lames Stallman 2nd R Stallman carried
Resolutt6n presented by R Stallman with a 2nd from R Brecht as follows:
"The Fairfax City Councils does hereby resolve: Whereas Ro2nald Burger
presented to council his plans for development of lots in Giddings
addition, therefore said council does grant Donald Buerger permission
to build homes on lots in Giddings addition on the condition that
curb and gutter and streets hard surfaced in accordance with the
MunEcipal code by the time each hone is occupied"` Carried.
Bill from John Altenhofen tabled -until Meat council meeting,
Letter received brom Manpower in regard to the availabELity of the
hiring of someone for the- water and sewer department thru the use of
Federal. money. The first years salary would be paid by "Manpower" and
we would pick up the salary after the 1st year, Clerk to call _
Larry Marmon from Manpower to ,set up a conference with hire in regard
to this matter,
letter from K esterca p-, Linn county Extension ervi.cae informing the
council that we -could have available -to us fora the summer a person to -
run a playground program three days a weeX from '9 to 12 on Mon, V7ed, Fri.,
with the only cost to usm to be about $100.00 for supplies. .Meeting
to be set up with them and the b-aseball club on the same night to
coordinate the use of the Base ill field and playground equipment.

Iowa Commission report approved to show a1201 extension of Main street
east from Seipman drive and a storm sewer project from Sei.pman Drive
East to Reynolds street
Rexa Construction for about $200.00 has agreed to cork on the Lagoon
Road.
Clerk to contaet Cannors 'hauling and inquire if we will holne 1 or
2 clean up days this year.
N0XkK-K:kkX First ,reading of Ordinance 29 Garbage and Refuse, approved
on motion of R Stallman 2nd R Brecht with the clerk to check on item.
29,12 to ,see if the ,Schedule of Fees roust be included in ordnance.
