Nr Heintz from Cedar Valley Asphalt present an estimate of approximately $2,430.00
for a 2" asphaltic matfor the tennis court. Motion of H L Shakespeare to proceed
with the surfacing of tennis court and award con-tract to Cedar 'Malley As-Phil t
2nd John Zamastil. Carried.
Edna Delany attended meeting to complain about the bad water problem at her home
She would like the fire hydrant at the end of her street flushed more often. She
requested that she be allowed to hire -someone to filAs.h the hydrant, Council denied
her request,
Letterfrom Mrs C C Gibson received in regard to the charges for sewer xxd. She stated
that sba do-es not use the "City Sewer" and does not wish to pay for any of it.
Report brom the U S Geological Study of the purposed new well,.. location chooses
is 0 K across from present well, A Good to excelient source, Should produce all
the water Fairfax would need,. Appraisal of land adoption t6 buy should be obtained.
Clerk to send this study to Planning & Zoning for their consideration.
Discussion held on the possible purchase of land in the lowa Fund addit&on for a tot
lot type Playground for the childeen

to belong to the American Water Works Assoc. Fee is $12.50 Carried

Kirkwood on the Safe Drinking T!eter Act. $5.00 fee to be paid by City . Carried

this voad so that the City of Fairfax could comply with State T-W regarding a all

comply to "State Lww."
AND WORK: The Cost of this read will be only a small fraction
of what it would have cost to nave a cotitracter build it:

and Wouth Front Street near our Lift Station to and including the
read alongside the Lagoon to its termination:
