RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax, Iowa, desires to establish a method
and manner for placement of fire hydrants in Subdivisions established pursuant
to law within the City of Fairfax, Iowa, and;
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax, Iowa, desires to establish a method
of financing the cost of installing said fire hydrants;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Fairfax,
Iowa, as follows;
A fire hydrant shall be placed at all intersections of streets and at 300
foot intervals therefrom within a Subdivision hereafter established pursuant to {
law within the City of Fairfax, Iowa, All costs and expenses incident to the j
construction, installation, and connection of any fire hydrant as herei.nbefore
required, shall be paid by the owner of the land subdivided hereafter pursuant
to law within the City of Fairfax, Iowa.
Passed this day of March, 1976.
