Special Yeeting of the Fairfalx City Council was held May 13, 19761 Mayor Stall an
presiding. Councilmen R Stalloan,, R Carver, E Brown, & K Flanke prPsent Brecht Absent,
Purpose of meetings Meet Frith. group from 'Mt Mercy College Geograph*y class and
other such matters that may come to the Councils attention,
The students from Yt Mercy present council with their tboughs,, projections etc of
their findings in regard to the past and future of Fairfax in the area's faf
bvdget water and sewer etc,
R Emanuel attended meeting to asR council to consider payment of ditch cleaning
job done by Barber excuevating in the area behind where Burger & EmaDuel are
building a 4 plea. Motion of R Stallwan 2nd R Ca7ver to pay $112.50 of this
bill for the cleaning of the ditch but not for the moving of the dirt. Carried
D, 1,111urphy and R Emanuel advised council H several problems that have occured. at
the ball park 4..Overhaul job on riding mower $600.00 and that the lock oil the
me-as rest room has been knocked off again and that the dug out bane been dama,ged,
Clerk to send the ball to the 2nd half of their budgeted 300,00 (150,00) NO
other money available until after July IjI976,
3- bids received for the removal of the tree at Park and Church street, Dicks
Tree service $195,00, Booth $225,00 Breedens $245#00. Moition of R Carver
2nd R Stallman -to accept bid by Dicks Tree Service of 1195.00 Carried.
There being nod further business meeting adjourned.
