Preliminary Plat of Zamastil First addition Dresented to committee by
John Zamastil and Ray Joe Zamastil,
Joan and Ray 'Jaychoff also attended meeting. Discussion held on the
possible water problen, by the placing of a drive at the corner of
Vanderbilt and ?,inn Street, 7amastills will follow the recorraviondations of the
City Engineer in regard to size of vulvert and that city should be
responsible for the ditches being cleaned out so that the water
would run off in the diteb and not in Waychoff's front yard and garage.
Wvvchoffs' have no objections to street and driveway that will run
beside their house on the south side as they wer aware of the fact that
30 feet had been reserved for a street at the time they pimrcbased their
property, but they do object to the placement of another street at
the back of their property. They felt that the street running north
and south should be placed tat the west side of purposed lots 2,3&4and
not of the east side of them.
On ration of Lye Kovar 2nd Robert Jackson the planning and zoning commission
of the City of Fairfax, Iowa having met and consideredt-he preliminary Plat
of Zamstil's Ist additon to Fairfax, Iowa does hereby recomE...end to the
City Council of Fairfax, Iowa. that t he approval of siUd preliminary
Plat be denied. 6 Yes A2 Mesa Carried
They further recommend thatthe private d eive purposed from the corner of
Linn and Vanderbilt should be exteded all the way to the west end of
the addition, and then a 30 foot drive from Linn Street run north along
west end of addition, nhanging the lot sizes to approximately 82*166.43

Ken Babbitt from. Iowa and had requested an opinion from P & Z in regard
to the usage of lots 513 and 59, Auditors plat 318 (also known as Iowa Fund)
Ile has a buyer interested in Dirchasing botheof these lots if the buyer
would be allowed to place his house on a. 45 degree aggle in -the middle
of the two lots, Motion to approve by R Jack-son 2nd M Kubasa. Carried.
