Special meeting of the Fairfax City Couincilwas held 11/11/76. Mayor Stallrqan
presiding® Councilmen R Stallman, R Carver, R Brecht, E Brown & K fianM present
Minutes of P &Z meeting of 11/10/76 read by council and placed on file.
Resolution and recommendation of P & Z received in regard totbe Zamastil
property, P & Z accepted the preliminary plat the Zamastil addition
and
recammedd to Councilthat they also accept the preliminary plat and also
the final plat if it is an exact duplicate of the preliminary -plat.
Motion of R Stallman 2nd R Carver that plat be accepted. Roll. call vote
Yes R S.allman, R Carver, R Brecht E Brown No K. Hanke. Carried
Zamiastils informed that they must put in two curb stops and two lines
to the two lots in question and that a copy of the easement given to them by
their father, William Zamastil , to Cuoss his property for the water lines be
given to the city for their records.
Scott McLeod City Attorney attended meeting® Discussion Keld with him in
reference to codification of ordinances, building code, and contract I with
James McCormick to purchase approximately 10 acres for a additional cell
to sewer lagoon at a cost of $2,000.00 per a cre 71/,, interest for TO years and not
more that 29% down.
Ronald urger present bill for completion of catch. basin in Main Street.
Ronald ExIlne resigned from the P & Z committee. Mrs Ed Brown appointed to
fill vacatcy per motion at 9/2/76 council meeting.

Mr & Mrs Bertram Spare Sr. present application for liquor license for the
Do Drop In (formerly the Hide *wAy) Motion to approve made by R Garver:-:2nd -16
by R Brecht. Carried.
Clerk instructed to contact City attorney in regard to writting up a option
to repurchase gv-ound by the heirs of James McCormick if the 10 acres we
wish to purchase from Mr McCormick is ever discontinued being used as
a cell of our lagpon.
Information received that non residence are bringing garbage into Fairfax
for our contract hauler to pick up at the Tonnesen residence. Clerk to
send letter to Tonneson's requesting that this oractic cease.
Speed eed limit (35 MPH) signs to be place on the Cpain Bin Road.
New contracts to be sent to Fairfax�Clinton Township trustees and City of Walford.
