presiding. Councilmen R Stallman R Carver, Ed Brown Hanke present Brecht absent.
Minutes of previous meeting approved.
Liquor permit for Chas Boland ("Charlies` ) approved on motion of R Stallman j
2nd R Carver Carried
Prairie Roadbuilders representatives attended meeting to discuss the cost of
street improvements for 1977„ Motion of r Stallman 2nd K Hank.e that if worm is
to be done on streets next year Prairie R02dbuilders will gave us the opportunity to
contract with them attt!e s4me prig as last year.. Carried.
Motion of R Stall7pn 2nd F Frown to accept the rest of Main street from ?? Burger.

Motion of R Stallman 2nd Ed Brown to purchase new larger alternator for city
truck from Cros-ert Motor at Newhall for $230.00 Carried
Discussion held on pay increase of salaries for Ron Du:sil and Harold Sbakespeare,.
Increase to 5.00 per hour for Ron and to 5.75 for Harold. Lotion to increase made
by Ronald Stallmpn 2nd R Carver. Carried
Fairfax Township trustees attended meeting to discuss the new fire protection
contracts They will hold a meeting on January 18 and advise council of their
decision in regard to the increase®
Marcia Moon new liaison/aide from i,inn County Regional Planning attended meeting
to acquaint herself with the council. WN will again try for a community development
grant for anew well. Miss Moen will get the project started this week. A public
hearing will be held on January 24 in regard the community development grant and
the budgeting of the Federal Revenue Sharing Funds.
Bills approved hor payment on motion of Ed Brown 2nd R 'Stallman. Carried
Forms received from the Conservation Coma for a grant application far;.srir°e
Department equipment® Fire Depa.rtuent will figure out what they need and
forms will be filed later this month.
