Discussion held on the Cities responsi.blity on partial payment of bill from-
Schmidt construction to Harold Groff on water line free p, Consensus of council
the City not responsible for free e up and therefor will not pay on this bill.
Vance Ball attended meeting to ask permission to tap into storm sewer that runts
across the back of his lot to drains the area. le would past a catch basin in to
conform with the cities specification. Council advised Fir hall to make bis plans
and bring bade to council before .a y York is done on this project.
Discussion field on the use of plastic pipe for water rains. Hall Engineering
to be contacted in regard to this matter .
Monica Moen from Regional Planning advise council that all the papers for our
Community Development Grant have gone in and we should have an answer back by
March 25 if we are to receive this grant.
Four bids were received for the new Street Garage Final decision on this matter
to be made at special meeting 3/7/77
Mayor Stallman had preliminary conversation with Dale Netherton in regard to
purchase of part of lot he owns for the new well, Be has offered to sell us
a• 3Ox7O piece of property for approximately Q,000. Matter to be refered to
Hall Engineering before proceeding.
Parellel parking discussed.. All parking shall be parel'lel with curb except
wbere otherwise posted... Cite attorney to amend parki.°ng, ordinance accordingly
and as soon es this is done sighs will be changed and the parkin; regulation
shall be inforced.
Special council meeting to be held 3/7/77® There being no further business
meeting adjourned.
Special Meeting of the Fairfax City Council was held 27/7/77. Mayor Stallman
presiding Councilmen R Stallman, R Carver, P. Brecbt, FBrown & K Hanke present,.
Purpose of meeting: Finalization of garage bids; Bids received from Wickes Bldg
for 11,308. 00, Butler Bldg 15,312, Morton Bldg 14,556.00? & Pacemaker 8,952,00..

construction by June 1 and building to be finished by July 1, 1977e weather permitting.
letter received from Planning & Zoning in regard to the installation of a
metal building behind the fire station and they find no objections to this
purposal. They did suggest that precaution be taken in the water runs off from
this building that it not be allowed to drain on property next door owned by
Alice Barnett.
Bid of Pacemaker was accepted on motion of R Carver 2nd Ed Brown Carried.
There being no ftrtber business meeting adjourned.
