ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION NINETEEN (19) OF CHAPTER 75 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF FAIRFAX, IOWA, AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION IN LIEU
THEREOF.
Be It Ordained by the Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, as follows
Section Nineteen (19) of Chapter 75, of the Municipal Code of
Fairfax, Iowa, is hereby repealed in its entirety, and the following is
substituted in lieu thereof.
"Section Nineteen (19) Building Permit Fee. Building
Permits shall be issued when it has been shown that such
proposed building, alteration or extension will be in con-
formity with this Zoning Ordinance and upon payment of the
following Building Permit fee:
One Dollar ($1) for each One Thousand Dollars ($1,000)
on the first Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) of
estimated cost of the building, alteration, addition
or extension and Fifty Cents ($.50) per each One
Thousand Dollars ($1,000) thereafter. The minimum
fee shall he One Dollar ($1) and all fees shall be
paid to the City Clerk and deposited in the General +I
Fund."
Passed by the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa, this day of
1977, and approved this _ day of 1977.
