Patterson, Fanke, Cerveny present. Carver absent
Minutes of previous meeting; approved., can motion of R Stal.l_man, 2nd V Cerveny. Carried
Marvin ?ul $ Roy Walters from prairie Road:builders attended council meeting to
adOse council of the terns of this years contract for street construction and
repair. Motion to approve contract made by R Sfallman, 2nd 4 Onke carried.
Discussion with them in regard to stock piling some 3/8" pea gravel and experiment
with its use on Church ,Street from Highway 149 to Vanderbilt. Anyone in the city
who would like to have their driveways blacktop can leave their name at city hall
and arrangements can be ;jade with Prairie Roadbuilders to do them at a reasonable
cost to the owner.
Motion by R 91a.11 dan 2nd Leroy Patterson to set search 1, 1979 at Regular council
meeting the public4hearing on the F^isc8lyear 79-80 budget. Carried
Monthly payment to Powell. Fouling to be increased July 1, 1979 by 5 to 7 'percent
cn the condition that the charges At Cedar Rapids Landfill are not increased.
Will wait until next time ants are offered to apply for money for the pavilion.
Money to he put in the budget to built the pavilion(when we get the deed to the
land),
Linea Counter Engineer's office to be contacted about the inspection of the one
bridge that is within the city limits as per letter from them.
liquor Permit for Char°li.es Tavern approved on motion of K Ranke 2nd R. Sta.11man.
Correspondence from DEQ about lagoon improvements forwarded to Green Engineering
for their reference
Fills approved for payment on Motion of R Stallwan, 2nd L Patterson Carried.
No further business meeting, adjourned.
