Bob Levi from Iowa' Illinois Gas Cc attended meeting to answer any qu4stions count l
or citizens may have bad for hlm� He informed council that local gas rates would
be increasing 6.9% in October, 2% in November and another 4% i:n.March. .`.`:
Correspondence from D`3T advising council that the new date for the completion: Of
the signalization project on the MJ Railroad Crossing is now the end of October,
1962. A traffice flow chart received from DOT showing a dnfib9l daily traffic
volume on Church street as being 930 cars a day.

Leonard Davis, Starwest Cable TV. discussed changes in regulatory ordinance.
Discussion on rates. estimated-charges for the'"'package" (includes a movie channel::)
would be about $15.00

D. C. Neuhaus discussed with council the feasibility of continuing.',the sewer
f expansion, into Cedar Rapids. Council to follow up on information presented to therti
by Mr Neuhaus.
Insulation for maintence wilding to be purchased from Payless lumber as their
p, ice of 13 per sq foot was low. Fence- by lagoon to be replaced .and Clio N1117
railroad to be contracted in regard to fence along the tracks,
Repairs to be made to Tennis Court #1 on motion of D. Shakespeare grad J. Feign.
Carried. Court ,#2 repairs to be delayed until next spring.
Complaints received on speeding cars on Stal.lman Drive. Sheriffs dept. to
be contacted on this,
Carol Stallman appointed to a 6 year term on the Library board on motion o£
H. Josifek 2nd J. Weight.
Drug Ordinance to be tabled until the November meeting. Past due accounts in the
water department to be sent Certified letters again..,.
City Fall will be closed October 20, 21 , 3a 22nd while City Clerks attends
Iowa Municipal Finances Officers Association meeting in ??es moires .
