Receipts : General , 13,599.96 , RUT 1 ,398.67, Debt Sere 129.`4, Wpte! dept 1 ,363.30, Sewer dept 4,304.37, Garbage fee 515.00 Building permit for K. Bernell approved on motion of R. Carver 2nd V. Cerveny Terry Berryhill and Mike Flaherty appointed tothe Fairfax Volunteer Fire Tept on motion of V. Cerveny 20 J, Feight. Approved Gordon Sorg reappoint to the P & 7 committee for 5 years, on motion of N. josifek, 2nd R. Carver, Approved Sheriff Sawyer attended meeting to discuss contract with council. No change in the fee rate for the coming fiscal year. letter from AreaSubstance Abuse asking for ijoontribution from the Liquor Profit Wads allocated from the State to the City® Consensus of Council that no roney be allotted to them. Discussion held on setting up P 5 year plan for the cleaning of all sewer maips Program to be set on doing approximately 1 ,500 to 2,000,feet a year. Jack Spew to be contacted on this program. Leonard Davis , Starwest Tne, attended meeting for further discussion of Cable T V ordinance4 Ordinance #101 being an Ordinance Regulation Ceble Television Systems within in the City of Fairfax was presented for the first rending by CouncilTen Cerveny. Councilman Carver moved that the rule requiring that Ordinance be read in its entirety be mispened and that the ordinance be read by its title only, 2nd bv Councilmen Feight. Wrl than read ordinance bv title. Councilman Carver moved the approval of the OrdhNnce on its first reading and that the rule requiring three readings on three different days be suspended and the Ordinnce be placed on its second & third readings by its title , 2nd Councilman Feight. The OrdinaTe was then read the second and third time by its title. Councilman Carver moved the adoption of the Ordinance as read: 2nd Councilman Feleht. Adopted Yeas Cerveny, Carver, Feight , Josifek & Shakespeare Nays - None. mayor declared ordinance adopted and in effect when published as required by law. Dave Selzer inquired of council if South Slope Telephone company intended on cl ,aning up the ditch on the west side of Pighway 149 on the Dairy Queen property and on south. Clerk to contact South Slope and the Pighway Dept about the matter. Bills approved on motion of R. Carver 2nd V. Cerveny. No :Further business meeting adjourned 9:45 PM.
