Mayor dazes S allman presiding, Council present; Josifek, Carver, Feight, Shakespeare & Cerveny. Minutes of previous meetings approved as mailed and published. Clerks report approved. Receipts : General Fund 12,761.58, Revenue Sharing 1,440.58, RUT 1,161.25, Debt Sery 159.30, Library T&-A 233.72, Water Dept : 1,952.38, Sewer Dept 4,600.89. a Jim Neuhaus , inQuired of Council if there would be/chance of him working for the city in the Water and/or Sewer Department this summer as he is enrolled in ah erti£ication program at Kirkwood and needs to have experience in Water and Wastewater treatment to complete the program. He could be willing to donate his time. Council took under advisement Resolution 2383 (Changing date of sewer pay ments to Cedar,Rapids from January 1933, to duly 1964) approved on Motion of R. Carrier 2nd Vernon Cerveny. Mayor & Clerk to sign same and send to City of Cedar Rapids for their approval and signatures. Creen Engineering tontrect to be amended to include cost of necessary field and office work to relocate the alignment to the south so they may proceed with t'he interceptro design. Approved on motion of H. Shakespeare 2nd N. Tosi_fek, Discussion held on the information from Clinton Township Cleric in regard to Cedar Terrace Trailer court wishing to provide their own fire protection. As Clinton Township trustees will have to take the final decision on this tatter Council and Fire Department will go along with their findings. Correspondence from D. H anke and D. Shakespeare in regard to- the Fire Department. was read and referred to the Fire Chief for his handling. Council was advised that Mr Roy Walters from Municipal Street Supplies would not be ableito attend meeting, as had been scheduled Mo i&n by V. Cerveny, 2nd N. dosifek,Fire Department to apply for Federal Assistance in obtaining Air Packq, Spare tanks , Coats,boots , gloves, Pants Helmets. Approved Building permit for Fairfax Frain approved on motion of V. Cerveny 2nd J. Fei.ght. Approved Correspondence read from Office of Auditor of State on request for an audit of the City books made by the City Clerk. Mbtlon to approve audit made by R. rver 2nd V. Cerveny Roll Call vote. Ayes Carver, CervepyAdosifek., Shakespeare Nay vote Feight. Mayor declared motion approved and instructed Clerk to make the necessary arrangements. Discussion held on installing thermopane windows in Firestation, City Hall and hallway and the possiblity of bricking ffip window in Fire station. On motion of V. Cerveny 2nd R. Carver, clerk to get quotes from different glass companies on this project, Approved. Don Kleis , Prairie Roadbuildess, attended meeting in regard to street work to be done this summer. He advised council that the price will be the same as last year, but the contract for pea gravel has gone up 18� a ton , motion by R. Carver 2nd Harold Shakespeare that City contract with Prairie Roadbuilders j or any street weeks that needs to be done. The extend of work to be determined in early summer. Approved on roll call vote. All Ayes Public hearing on F/1' 83/84 set for regular council meeting on Mirch 3, 1983 on motion of J. Feiglut 2nd V. Cerveny. Appvove.d on roll call vote. All Ayes Bills approved for payment on motion of J. Feigh .t 2nd N. Josi.fek. There being no further business meeting adjourned 10:30 PM.
