spied limit on Stallman Thrive from 30MP11 to 25MTIH, presented. Motion to anprove
1st reading made by R. Carver grad "H. Shakespeare... Carried on roll cal,vote ,
All Ayes. grad reading to be at May 5th council meeting.
Ordinance 105, Amending Title II , Chapter 2, Section 2.1-2.1008 Fstablisbin [
additional"No Parking 76ares" presented. Motion to change Item #4 before the
first reading made by<ll. Shakespeare 2nd ' N. Josifek. Motion I o suspend the, .
rules requiring three readings made by V. Cerveny. Died for lat. of second.

of Ordinance 105 will be at May 5th Council meeting.
City Clerk reported to council that the street light that is to b;� installed
on Cemetery Road West and 140 has been approved by the Iozra OOT and installation
will be completed very shortly.

On motion of V.Cerveny grad 13.> Shakespeare , Maintence man given permission
to relocated gas pump to the SE corner of the maintence building. Carried
Resolution ##41453 naming the Fairfax Strite S2vi.ngs hank as Depository of
the City of Fairfax Funds., presented by R. Carver 2nd J. Feight. Approved
Discussion held on the installation of a new type of alarm system in the
#1 Lift r'tati.on. The system woa..tld have the cad abilities of ringing into
10 homes. BesIgnat ion of which homes will be determined later.
Bob Fredericks from Green Engineering advised council of his findings
when 500 feet of Sewer pipe was televised in tae- area whene` s me.. basements
received water. There is apparent infiltration of ground water from
basement the lines and a field the that is tapped directly into the
sanitary sewer line. A decl6ion how to enforce the- ordinance on drain
tiles hooked into the sewer system will be handled at a later date.
The field tile connection will be taken out of the sewer line and fur- ter
investigation of this field tee line will be made.
Easement work in regard to the sewer expansion will continue. _A scbed"l.e
of appointments will be set up and at least one councilmen will accompany
Mr 'Fredericks to obtain the easments.
City Clerk to notify Flicks tree service to remove and stump out the trees
on Church Street and Main street that council approved at 4/7/93 council
meeting.

Councilmen R. Carver made motion -that Nancy Josifek and Vern Cerveny be
appointed as the Park and Free committee to coordinate activies at the
Park and the tree planning progrem. Carried. City hall will he closed 4/20,
4/21/and 4/22 as City Clerk will be attending, IMFOA meeting in Ties Moines
