We also have an average" of 12 children attending the Story Hour. on Fridays at 12:30 A teen-ager Jennifer Jans is reading the stories. We also included Film Days this year with a total of 45 children participating so far. We will have one final'. Film Day August 19th. The picnic for the summer reading propram participants will be August 6 at noon st the Park Pavillion, The Video Disc Player has been checked out everday day in June and July. It is booked for all of August and part of Sepetember. We have ordered a new disc from donations that the patrons using the disc have made. Cerveny, 2nd R. Garver. Carried Bob Fredericks, Greeen rngineering , discussed with council the latest developements, 6n the Sewer Project. Since Mr McCormick refuses to sign the easement necessary and refuses to talk further with Council about the pro, ect and DFQ will_ bo-t grant us a varience to go the deeper rc)ute ,-. be suggest that the council correspond with DEQ and explain the situation and ask that they be allowed to make certain changes and improvements to the present lagoon, to see if we can meet their current standards and ask for a guarantee f5torm them tbat this would satisfy their requirements for the time being., an motion of R. Carried All ayes. Mayor Stallman opened hearing requested by John Norine Zamastil on notice to abate nuisance. The Znmastils presented pictures of other weeds in the City (some on city property) and informed the Mayor that they had sprayed several times for weeds, and they did not consider this area a nuisance. Mayor Stallman declbre8 that he felt they had did their part and all other such cases will be judged individually by coiincil. Several citizens ask that the City Council reconsider that part of the recently passed ordinance in regard to parking on Park Street. Citizens request that the no parking side be moved from. the east side to the west side of Park street from Front street to the dead end at railroad tracks. Further discussion and possible action to be taken at the September council meeting. As there is no provision in the City Ordinance allowing water meters to be given out to citizens for s:oe: and grass watering,City Cleiik to contact those who have them and ask that they be returned. On motion of V. Cerveny 2nd R. Carver, that M, Flaherty part time help, be given a pay raise to S4.50 per hour effective immediately. Carried All Ayes. Because of an error in the bid from Slavic Agency on Fire Department Errors ............ and Ommission policy was rebid, by them at' 600.00 instead of WQ.00.Mlotion to approve new bid made by J.
