Council present Balog, Berryhill , Josifek & Zamastil , Minutes of previous meeting approved on motion of J. Zamastil 2nd B . Balog. Financial and budget reports approved and placed on file . Receipt to be accounted for : General Fund 22 , 408 . 38 , RUT 1846 . 46 , Debt Service 482 . 'C'3 , Water dept 1 , 67'1 . 96 , Sewer Dept 3 , 467 . 92 , Garbage fees 542 ., p0, One building permit was issued during the month to B . Erger for a office addition to his business. John Morrissey from J. R. ' s Prairie Oasis presented Council with an application for a Sunday Liquor permit . On motion of N. Josifek, 2nd T. Berryhill Sunday permit. approved . All voting aye . American Legion present their application for a Class C Liquor permit And Sunday permit . Motion to approve same made by J. Zamastil , 2nd Balog. Carried All voting Aye ..year end Fire Department report presented and placed on file . Further Hey Dey discussion to be put on the February City Council ad;genda The following items were discussed :tidater main looping project has been completed and the City share of the clean up will be handled in the spring as soon as ground thaws . Special Election: Election will be held January 8 , 1984 from 12 noon. to 8 P . M. to fill a vacancy on the City Council. Preliminary Budget discussion, Budget meetings will be held Jan 8 , 16 , 23 , & 30th at 7 : 00 PM. Sewer improvements : Representative from Municipal Pipe Tool Co ask to attend January meeting for discussion of a contract for TVing , cleaning, etc . for sewer lines . .Flood plain Ordinance wording to be changed, new ordinance to be ready for January meeting. Mr. Cary Lefebure donated to the City Library Video Cassettes of President Reagans visit to Fairfax, Hey-Dey 84 and cassette on Iowa. Clerk to send Mr Lefebure a letter of thanks .
