Minutes of P & Z meeting held 3 /5/85 read to Council, recommending i
to City Council that they approve Selzers third addition, consisitilg
of seven lots , east of the quarry. Discussion was then held with
Mr Selzer in this regard. Hall Engineering to be contacted to start
some arrangements with Chgo NTH Railroad about extending a new �
?.pater main under the tracs from either Burger Lane or Fairfax Road . I
Sub-division to be further discussed at April Regular meeting .
2 resignations from Fire Dept received and Berryhill made motion to
accept Tim Fairlie as a volunteer firemen, 2nd Balog. Carried
on motion of Josifek, 2nd Zamastil Clerk to post notice of hiring
of a part time water billing clerk for 10 hours per month at $3 . 75
per hour and that Councilmen Balog and Berryhill be delegated the
authority to hire the most qualified person making application.
Carried. All voting aye .
Clerk instructed to also post notice that bids will be taken for the
mowing of city property, also that the Library ,Board will be hiring
someone on a part-time basis as a librarians assistant .
Motion of Balog, 2nd Berryhill Terracon Consultants , Inc to do borings
east of the lagoon for a sewer project . Carried all voting aye .
Clerk instructed to send a letter to all past due (more than one month)
water and sewer customers informing them bills must be paid in full
by April 1 and if not a follow up letter to be sent informing them
that their water will be turned off on the 10th and the balance
of the bill will be placed as lein against their property. There will
be no exceptions unless substational payment is made and that regular
payment schedule is set up and adhered to . Carried all voting aye.
Notion of Balog, 2nd Zamastil , Locks to be changed on Fire Station,
City Hall , Water test lab and Council chambers and file system e.
set up as to who has keys . Carried . All voting aye . Berryhill abstained .
Motion Balog 2nd Zamastil, Fire dept issued Fireworks permit for the
4th of July celebration. Carried All Voting aye .
Bills approved for payment on motion of Berryhill 2nd Balog. Carried
All voting aye .
Motion to adjourn made by Balog 2nd Berryhill . Carried 10 : 30 PM
