City to contract with HACAP for workers to help with several projects
in the City, on motion of Balog, 2nd Berryhill . Carried
Priority items for Hacap projects 1 . Clean Sand off streets , 2 . clean
driveway culverts , 3 . clean out ditch along Chgo NW tracks from Railroad
street to East city limits , 4 . Clean brush, down trees etc . in area
between quarry and Lagoon on city property.
Ron Dusil to schedule hours and number of people to be contracted
for and supervise their work.
Letter to be sent to Iowa Dept of WAWM asking for an on site inspection
and judgement on two areas that appear to be infringing in the Floodway
District on motion of Balog, 2nd Josifek. Carried all voting aye
On motion of Josifek, 2nd Balog, The YTT committee be given permission
to have their information booklet printing by a printing company
j instead of using the copy machine . Carried all voting aye
On motion of Balog, 2nd. Berryhill a certified letter be sent to
property owner and renter where there is a possible violation of
City Ordinance . Carried all voting aye .
On motion of Josifek, 2nd Berryhill, Clerk given permission to
have water billing clerk work extra hours cleaning out old records

Purpose of meeting : Budget Amendment & Street repairs for Southview Rd.
Also attending were Steve::. Gannon, Linn Co Engineers Office, Ken Schriner,
Board of Supervisors , Don Kleis , Prairie Roadbuilders , Mr & Mrs Dave
Eckhart , & Randy Price .
Discussion held in regard to Southview Road improvements . On motion
of Balog, 2nd Berryhill, City of Fairfax to pay to the County the
difference between the cost of their usual dust control with calcuim-
chloride and M70 Oil and sand. Carried All voting aye .
County will also include that portion of Williams Blvd from highway
149 to Southview Road in this same program per motion by Balog,
2nd Berryhill . Carried . All voting Aye
Pablic- Hearing held on Budget 84/85 Amendment . No objectors appeared rI,
and none received by mail . Resolution 51485 presented byN. Josifek
2nd Balog to amend 84/85 Budget as published. Carried All voting aye .
