Resolution 6685 "Re-Establish a Capital Equipment & Improvement project Fund" was presented . Motion to approved by Josifek, 2nd Balog. Carried Resolution 6685A "To transfer certain funds to a Capital Equipment & Improvement Fund. " was p presented. Motion to approve. by Balog, 2nd Lerryhill Carried Resolution 6685B "Resolution setting the salaries for appointed Officers and Employees of the City of Pairfax for the Fiscal Year 85/86" presented and approved on motion of Berryhill 2nd Zamastil . Carried Roll call vote : All ayes with the exception of 6685B , Balog abstained Minutes of the Planning, & Zoning meeting of 5,/14 /85 read to Council . With their recommondati.ons that City Council approve Selzers Lakeside 2nd addition. and comments in regard to the Manufactured Homes Ordinances . Ordinances 120, 121, 122 , & 123 (Amending certain sections of the Zoning Ordinances ) were discussed . On motion of Balog, 2nd Josifek a Public Hearing on these ordinance will be held July 2, 1985 at 7PM preceding the July Council meeting. . Cigarette permits for Bobs Meats , Star Hotel & J.R. ' s approved on motion Balog, 2nd Berryhill . Carried Two bids received for tree removal . 0n motion of Josifek, 2nd Zamastil Dicks tree service bid of $380 . 00 be accepted. Carried all voting aye Tennis court repairs & backstop installation tabled until July meeting. Discussion with Mr & Mrs Thomas regarding basketball pole on Burger Lane . Councilmen Zamastil to check out area and Thomas's agreed to fix the pole so it can be removed during the winter. Discussion of new type of floodlights for flag at Park and Fire Station tabled until July meeting. On motion of Balog, 2nd Berryhill, Ron Dusil given permission to haul any donated dirt from private property for Lagoon. fill . Carried. RonStallman, representing the Fire Department , ask that excess appropriations from the Fire Departments Budget be put in a special. fund and be encumbered for one year for truck repair or equipment that was not able to be purchased in time for this budget year. On motion of Balog, 2nd Zamastil , Clerk instructed to encumber for one year excess funds in Fire ]department budget . Carried. All voting aye Clerk informed Council that the signed contract from HACAP had been received and our request for three workers for the month of July has been O. K' d. A certificate 9f the destruction of certain old city records , aad.Ahat they were destroyed in accordance with the Laws of the State of Iowa and as authorized by the City Council , was given to the Council for their reference . Approval of payment of bills presented and the City Clerk given permission to pay such bills that can be accounted for in the 84/85 budget made by motion of Zamastil 2nd Balog. All voting aye Clerk instructed to call representatives of the Senior Citzens group and inquiry if they have their bus trip set and what portion they would like to have reimbursed from the Revenue Sharing funds per 84/85 budget . The City Clerk is hereby directed to deposit such appropriations that are not used in the Community Protection Fund, Human Development fund and the Home & Community Fund, before the end of the fiscal year for the purpose of future purchase of Capital Equipment and other Improvements . The following positions named shall be paid the salaries or wages indicated and the Clerk is authorized to issue checks , less legally require or authorized deductions from the amounts set out below, and make such contriutions to IPERs and FICA or other purposes as required by law or authoriziation of the council, , all attbject to audit and/or review by the City Council . POSITION YEARLY,MONTHLY, OR BASIC HOURS HOURLY RATE CITY CLERK $7 , 43 per hour M, T, W, F ( 32 hours &4 hours non—office) DEPUTY CITY CLERK WATER BILLING CLERK. $ 3 . 75 per hour 8 to 12 hours monthly and/or as needed LIBRARIAN $ 5 . 50 per hour 10 hours weekly ASS' ' T LIBRARIAN $ 4 . 00 per hour 5 Hours weekly WATER . SEWER & STREET SUPE 'INTENDENT $ 9 , 63 per hour 40 hours weekly PART--TIME UNSKILLED LABOR $ 3 . 75 per hour as needed Overtime hours shall be paid for at one and half tines the hourly rate for the job pe'iformed , (Overtime meaning time over 40 hours per week) City Clerk and Water & Sewer Superintendent shall be paid for the following Holidays : New Years , Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas , & Good Friday. City Clerk will be allowed 3 personal days per year . W & S Superintendent shall be allowed 2 personal days per year . The personal days may be accumulated . City Clerk shall be allowed 72 hours paid vacation, W & S Superintendent shall be allowed 80 hours vacation . Vacations must be taken and can not be accumulated.
