Approval of Selzer Lakeside 2nd add . Final plat. 9 . Adjournment Regular meeting Fairfax City Council was held 7/ 2/85 , 7 PM. Mayor Feight presiding. Council present : Balog, Berryhill, Bullock & Zamastil . Josifek absent Mayor Feight opened public hearing on Ordinance 120 , 121 , 122 , 123, (Amending Ordinances in regard to Manufactured Housing) at 7PM No written statements received and no comments from citizens . Mayor closed public hearing at 7 : 10 PM Regular meeting called to order. Minutes of previous meeting approved on motion of Balog, 2nd Berryhill . Carried . Budget & financial reports presented and placed on file . Receipts to be accounted for as follows General Fund 18, 892 . 77 , RUT fund 2 , 360 . 92 , Debt Serv. 272 . 37 , Library T&A acct 1 , 067 . 36 , Revenue Sharing 38 . 17 , Water Dept 5 , 815 . 37 , Sewer ]dept 4, 504 . 96 . Investments & Balance total to be accounted for : 2.81 , 222 . 06 . Resolution 7285 "Naming Fairfax State Savings Bank as official depository for City of Fairfax fund" presented for approval by Zamastil 2nd Berryhill . Rollcall vote all ayes On motion of Berryhill , 2nd Balog, Handimarts Wine permit approved. All ayes Tennis Services of Iowa awarded contract to resurface both tennis courts on Motion of Bullock, 2nd Berryhill carried On motion- of Balog, 2nd Berryhill , Ordinances 120, 121 , 122 & 123 amending sections of City Code were approved on first reading and that the rule requiring three readings be suspended and the Ordinances be placed on its second and third readings by their titles: The Ordinances were then read the second and third time by their titles . Balogg moved the adoption of the Ordinances as read 2nd by Berryhill . Carried by roll call vote . Mayor Feight declared Ordinances 120, 121 , 122 & 123 adopted and in effect when published as required by Iowa law. Building permits for Selzer construction and Fairfax Baseball tea .. approved on motion of Berryhill 2nd Balog, Carried Resolution 7285A Approving of the final plat of Selzers Lakeside 2nd Addition presented by Berryhill 2nd Zamastil . Roll call-All ayes . Bud Burger , representing the Baseball team, request that discussion and possible purchase of drinking fountain for the diamond area, be. placed on the August regular council meeting adgenda. Bills approved for payment on motion of Berryhill , 2nd Zamastil . Carried Motion to adjourn meeting made at 8 : 13Pm by Balog, 2nd Berryhill .
