AN CFDINANCP AMENDING TITLE III , CHAPTER 2 , ARTICLE 1 , SECTION 3-2 .0101 , OF THE CITY CODE OF FAIRFAX, IOWA. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FAIRFAX , IOWA Section 1 . The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Title 111 , Chapter 2 , Article 1 , Section 3-2 .0101 of the City Code of Fairfax , Iowa . Section 2 . Section 3--2 . 0101 of Title III , Chapter 2 , Article 1 of the City Code of Fairfax , Iowa , is amended by adding the following : 7r "Dangerous Animals" . All of the following animals whether actually vicious or not: A. Lions , tiger , jaguars , leopards , cougars , lynx , ocelts and bobcats . B . Black bears , polar bears and grizzly bears . C. Crocodiles and alligators. D. All venomous and constricting snakes. 8 . "Vicious . Oog" : A dog which inflicts a bite or bites upon and/or attacks human beings or animals without cause or justification. Section 3 . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed . Section 4 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect free, and after its passage , approval and publication as provided by law. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Title " I"II, Chapter 2 , Article 1 , Section 3-2 .0109 of the City Code of fairtax , Iowa . Section 2 . Section 3-2 . 0109 of Title III , Chapter 2 , Article 1 of the City Code of Fairfax , Iowa, is deleted and the following substituted in lieu thereof : 3--7. .0109 VICIOUS DOGS AND DANE ''R+OUS ANIMALS. No person shall. own, keep or harbor a vicious dog or dangerous animal. within the City of Fairfax . Section 3 . BF IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FAIRFAX, IOWA Section 1 . The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Title. II , Chapter 2 , Article 1 of the City Code ;I of Fairfax , Iowa . Section 2 . Title III , Chapter 2 , Article I of the City Code of Fairfax , Iowa is amended by adding the following new sections: 3 -2 .01].5 PEES. It. shall be unlawful for any person to keep or harbor bees unless the same are specifically auth.orizec, under the Fairfax Zoning Ordinances as agricultural or commercial use . 3-2 .0136 SCHEDULED OFFENSES AND FINES. The following scheduled 'Fines are fixed for violation of the designated sections in Title III , Chapter 2 , Article l of the Fairfax City Code: For violation of Section 3-2 .011.2 ; First Offense . . . . . . . . $10 .00 Second Offense . . . . . .. . . . $20 .00 Third Offense . . . . . . . . $50 .00 For all other violations . $15 .00 3-2 .0117 COURT PENALTY. For all persons who ( 1 ) elect. not to pay the scheduled fines set forth in Section �-2 .0116 above , or ( 2 ) otherwise fail to appear before. the appearance date for any violation of the sections of Title III , Chapter 2 , Artic]_e 1 , such violations shall constitute misdemeanors , and upon conviction a person shall be imprisoned not to exceed thirty ( 30 ) days , or fined not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100 ) .
