No futher business to come before council, motion to adjourn was made at 10:15PM
by Balog, 2nd Cerveny. Carried.

Special Council meeting held 4/7/87, in conjunctionwith the P & Z committee.
Mayor Peters presiding, Council present Balog, Cerveny & Shakespeare. P & Z
Chairman Stockton, P & Z Members, Patterson, Hartman, Panek, Stallman, Harover,
also present. Paul Evans from Fast Central Iowa Council of Government spoke
to the group on the Cities Comprehensive Plan.
No official business was conducted.

Special City Council meeting held 4/30/87 . Mayor Charles Peters
presiding , Council present : Balog, Cerveny, Bash., Bullock and
Shakespeare .
Purpose of meeting : Memorandum of Agreement and building permit .
On motion of Bullock, 2nd Bach Memorandum of Agreement between the.
City of Fairfax, Kenneth 0. & Mary Katherine Selzer and Iowa Fund„ Inc
approved and Mayor given authority to sign same , with two minor changes
being made . Carried . Ayes : Bach, Bullock, Balog, Cerveny & Shakespeare,
Nays : None . Absent : None
Building permit for garage present to council by Tim Fairlie . Permit
did not meet side yard regulations . Permit to be referred to the
Board of Review for their consideration .
Motion to adjourn made at 7 : 30"M by Shakespeare, 2nd Balog . Carried

Informational meeting of the CitT Counc 'J.l , F'ire Department and represent-
atives of the Fairfax Township Trustees , held following the Special
Council meeting. Steven Mason from Cedar Rapids presented a video
film on fire departments . Meeting adjourned at 10 : 07 PM
