ADJOURNMENT . 4 Regular meeting of the Fairfax City Council was held 7 /12/89 . Mayor Pro-Tem Vernon Cerveny presiding. `-Council present : Nading, Svoboda & Cerveny. Absent : Mayor Peters , Councalmembers Bullock & Quillin. Meeting delayed until 7 : 30PM due to lack of quorum. On motion of Nading, 2nd Svoboda, the adgenda as posted, financial and budget reports approved. All voting Aye . Receipts to be accounted for: General 14, 201, 81, RUT 2 , 530 . 70, Debit Sery 184 . 78 , Svgs accouts & fireworks donations 1, 369 . 97 . Grater Dept $2, 208 . 19, Sewer Dept 4, 059 . 61, Landfill fees 1, 584. 00. Public Hearing opened on Proposed Revision of the Code of Ordinances at 7 : 35 - No written objects received and no oral objections . Mayor closed public hearing at 7 ::40PM Ordinance 156 "Proposed Revision of Code of Ordinances" read for the first tame. Motion to approve by Svoboda 2nd Nading. Carried .. On motion of Nading, 2nd Svoboda American Legion granted there refund request of 3/4 ' s of the Beer Permit issued to them for Hey frays . Carried. All voting Aye Councilmember Nading reported on the . inventory of missing, replacement of street sings in need of repair . Also additional signs that are needed . On motion of Nading, 2nd Svoboda, City Clerk to order such signs as need and have them installed. All voting Aye. . Carried. On motion of Nading 2nd Svoboda, the sewer rates for the month of July and August are to be figured at a reduced rate using the same scale that was used last summer. Carried . All voting aye . Preliminary report from City Engineer in regard to the repaving of Prairie Ave from Vanderbilt to Nickolet Street including Nicolet St intersection was presented to Council . The matter postponed until August meeting when full Council can consider. Balls approved as presented on motion of Nading, 2nd Svoboda. Carried All voting aye .
